Our operations  and functions share many similarities with Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) in the United States of  America, Radio Amateur Emergency Network (RAYNET)  in the United Kingdom and Wireless Institute of Civil  Emergency Network in Australia (WICEN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In line with the National Security Council directive  number 20, we developed our own standard operating  procedure which makes us different from other amateur  radio organizations in the country. In addition to that, we   have also developed specialized portable communication  equipment which can be deployed easily even to remote  areas where no telecommunication service exists.
